The cottage is situated a two minute walk from the centre of the village, with the harbour and cliff top walks a two minute walk in the other direction.
There is a comfortable lounge with two three seater sofas, TV and DVD player. There is also a large well equipped family kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer and washing machine, with an attached utility area for any muddy/sandy boots/ children's toys/beach gear/bikes etc.
Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one with a double four poster bed, wardrobe, dressing and bedside tables and the other with twin single beds and large fitted wardrobe, partially shelved out.
There is parking for one medium sized car to the rear. Please note we do not offer charging facilities for electric vehicles. The closest charging points ate located in the main car park in Seahouses. There is an enclosed front courtyard (owners of springy saluki's please be aware this is only 3ft high).
Bed linen is supplied as standard (please bring your own towels).
Seahouses is known as the gateway to the Farnes and is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Morningsyde Cottage is just minutes from miles of white sandy beaches, within easy access of the Northumbeland National Park and Cheviot Hills and perfectly located to explore all that Northumberland and the Scottish Borders have to offer.
We welcome dogs and do not make any extra charge for doggy holidays nor have any limit on the number of dogs we allow. We supply one large dog crate which you are welcome to use. However if your hounds are used to snoozing on the sofa/bed please use the throws provided.
